First of all, make sure you are using Apple earphones with a Remote and Mic.
If you are then I would check the Music and Video settings on your iPod. For music player your iPod should be set to “shuffle” and for video playback you must have the “enable video” option switched on. Make sure the volume is CLEARLY set at 100% and https://www.cucumber7.com/ also that you ARE using the earphones with a remote and mic.
